Finance Director Opportunity

Responsibilities

The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, including but not limited to:

• Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Managing the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Managing the accounting and treasury functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
• Developing and maintaining strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Providing financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support strategic decision-making.
• Managing relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors.
• Identifying and mitigating financial risks.
• Evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic investments.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• CPA or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
